ChillBreeze Portable Cooling Systems
Working in Partnership with Extec Integrated Systems Ltd, MJ Services offers the ChillBreeze Portable Cooling system developed in response to an Urgent Operational Requirement for Bomb Suit cooling in the British Army.
In essence, an advanced matrix system is charged from a CO2 bottle and converted into dry ice. Air is then de-saturated and drawn through the matrix to supply cool air to the point of use. This can be helmet or suit. The battery driven motor is EMC cleared for use in an IED environment. The matrix can be any size and is worn as a backpack. When discharged after approximately 90 minutes, it can be replaced with spare units from an insulated box, or recharged within two minutes.
